Everton have been linked with targets from around the world as Rafa Benitez looks to make his first signing as manager.
With the start of Premier League on the horizon, Benitez will be hoping to wrap up any transfer business ahead of his first season in charge.
We take a look at the latest gossip from around the globe and rate how likely they are to happen...
Who?
Kurt Zouma
Where?
What?
Zouma could leave Chelsea this summer and is reportedly attracting interest from Premier League clubs Everton and Tottenham.
Chelsea are likely to shake up their squad on the back of their Champions League win, leading to the exits of several high profile stars.
Andres Christiansen, Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger and Thiago Silva are all considered important in the central position by Thomas Tuchel, while Zouma could be seen as expendable.
The Londoners have been linked to Bayern’s Niklas Sule and if they bring in another defender this summer Zouma could fall even further down the pecking order.
Rafa Benitez is looking to bolster his defensive unit ahead of next season following his move to Goodison.
It is claimed Benitez has a 'lot of problems' in the heart of Everton's backz four and is looking for an experienced partner for Michael Keane.
Under a new manager, Everton could prove to be an attractive prospect for the French defender.
Zouma has played at Goodison on loan and a return could make sense. He was comfortable at Everton and already knows most of the team members.
Who?
Moise Kean
Where?
What?
Everton are in talks with PSG over the transfer of Moise Kean but Rafa Benitez still wants to keep him, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Speaking on his Twitch account, Romano said: “Let’s give an update on Moise Kean and PSG because they are talking with Everton for Moise Kean,” Romano said.
“They were really relaxed and optimistic because [Carlo] Ancelotti was prepared to send him again on loan to PSG but now Rafa Benitez wants to keep Moise Kean.
“So either you are selling Moise Kean on a permanent deal or it will be really, really difficult to do it because at the moment Rafa Benitez doesn’t want to let him go on loan.”
The ECHO understands that Everton will not entertain talk of another loan this year.
Whether a permanent offer comes in that is too good to refuse is yet to be seen, but it does leave the striker and the club with some interesting decisions to make in the coming weeks.
Who?
Mikkel Damsgaard
Where?
What?
Everton have reportedly entered the race to sign Mikkel Damsgaard.
Damsgaard is one of the most promising young talent in Serie A and the 21-year-old has recently starred for Denmark at Euro 2020.
The winger has already attracted the attention of Tottenham and Leeds and now both Liverpool and Everton have now come forward, according to Calciomaercato.
Among fears that James Rodriguez may leave after just one year, Benitez could be looking to bring in reinforcements in attacking midfield.
However, Sampdoria are attempting to fend off suitors as interest in the Dane grows.
The first bid for Damsgaard came from another Serie A club. Sampdoria shot down a bid from AC Milan worth €20million plus Andrea Conti.
