Everton transfers - Kurt Zouma £25m and Denzel Dumfries meeting

Everton kick the new Premier League season off against Southampton at Goodison Park a month today.

With just over four weeks to go until the 2021-22 campaign, Rafa Benitez will be eager to boost the Toffees squad and plenty of names have been linked with the Blues.

Here, we take a look at the latest Everton transfer rumours...

Who?

Denzel Dumfries

Where?

Gazzetta dello Sport

What?

Everton are set to meet with the PSV defender this week to discuss a summer move, according to the Italian publication.

Playing for the former club of Director of Football Marcel Brands, the link has existed much of the summer but it seems the Toffees are now set to make their move.

Dumfries shined for Holland at Euro 2020, scoring twice and getting an assist in four games. Not bad for a defender at all.

Inter had also been interested but the Serie A champions are not prepared to pay his £17m valuation. Gazzetta dello Sport say Blues boss Rafa Benitez is keen to get it done.

Who?

Kurt Zouma

Where?

What?

Chelsea are prepared to sell the Everton target for £25m this summer.

Zouma spent the 2018-19 season on loan at Goodison Park though the west London club are not interested in another temporary deal, according to French journalist Loic Tanzi.

Should the Toffees attempt to be reunited with the centre-back, they will face apparent competition from Tottenham and Roma, managed by former Blues boss Jose Mourinho.

Turning 27 in October, whichever club secures his signature, they’ll be getting Zouma’s prime years.

Who?

Richarlison

Where?

What?

Rafa Benitez hopes to convince Richarlison to stay at Everton for another season.

The Spaniard intends to speak to the forward directly, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, amid apparent interest from Real Madrid and former boss Carlo Ancelotti.

Richarlison featured for Brazil at the Copa America and is set to represent his country again at the upcoming Olympic games.

Romano added there has been no offer for the attacker and that while Ancelotti ‘loves’ the player, he has not initiated a move to buy him.
