The Blues have so far signed Andros Townsend, Demarai Gray and Asmir Begovic but could yet make further squad improvements.

The article claims Ralph Hasenhuttl is in the market for defensive reinforcements and whilst central defence is a priority, the Saints could also move for the left back too.
The Echo reported last month that Everton have offered Small a first professional deal but an agreement hasn't been reached.
While the ECHO also understands that there is currently a breakdown in communication between his new representatives and the club.
