According to the journalist, Everton, Zenit and Inter Milan have all approached Napoli over a deal for forward Lorenzo Insigne this summer.
“Real interest for Insigne comes from Everton, where Rafa Benitez is, and from Zenit St. Petersburg, and it’s necessary to verify how much Inter can do seriously. Inter made it clear that they were there with transversal messages," said Marchetti, as quoted on Calcio Napoli 24.
Insigne's current deal at expires next summer and earlier reports in the window suggested Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has grown frustrated with contract negotiations and is now willing to allow Insigne to leave this transfer window.
