Everton have arrived stateside as their pre-season training ramps up ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.

With two signings already under their belt and the start of Premier League edging ever close, the Blues are focused on the first season of the Rafa Benitez era.

But could the new boss make any more new additions to his squad as he gears up for his return to the Premier League?

Here, we take a look at the latest gossip and rate how likely the rumoured moves are to happening…

Everton's Bernard is ready to call time on his stay at Goodison Park, according to MailOnline.

The forward is said to be in talks with several clubs from the United Arab Emirates over a summer move.

The 28-year-old started just three league games last season after struggling with consistency and falling out of favour with Carlo Ancelotti.

Bernard has entered the final year of his contract and the Blues are reportedly ready to cash in on the player they signed for free in 2018.

Who?

Pierluigi Gollini

Where?

What?

Rumoured Everton target Pierluigi Gollini underwent the first part of his medical at Tottenham yesterday.

The glovesman has joined Spurs on loan until June 2022 with a €15million buy option, according to Romano.

Last week, Calciomercato reported that the Blues had made an offer to sign the Italian.

However, Tottenham swooped in to beat Benitez's side to the goalkeeper after he impressed in Serie A and the Champions League last season.

Who?

Salomon Rondon

Where?

What?

Everton may have shown an interest in signing ex-Newcastle and West Brom striker Salomon Rondon this summer, according to Alan Myers.

The Sky Sports journalist reported that he “heard there was interest” in the 31-year-old but admitted there was “nothing from anyone who’d know”.

Rondon shone when he played for Benitez at Newcastle, recording 12 goals and seven assists in 33 appearances during a loan spell at St James’ Park in 2018/19.

There doesn't appear to be a strong link with Rondon but Benitez has already shown that he is keen to reunite with his former players through the signing of Andros Townsend.
