Everton transfer target Armando Broja 'wants' to leave Chelsea as contract offer 'prepared'

Everton's summer business is underway having wrapped up a deal to sign James Tarkowski on a free transfer. The defender completed his move to Goodison Park last week and has penned a four-year contract with the club.

Elsewhere, RIcharlison ended his four-year spell with Everton and joined Premier League rivals Tottenham Hoispur in a deal that could be worth up to £60m. The Brazilian made over 150 appearances and scored 53 goals for the Blues following his arrival from Watford in 2018.

Everton target Armando Broja wants to leave Chelsea this summer. The 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Southampton and impressed while on the south coast.

An article from Albanian outlet Ora News claims Thomas Tuchel has decided to leave Broja out of Chelsea's pre-season camp in the US. The decision has reportedly been met with frustration from the player and he's offered the London club an 'ultimatum'.

The report adds tjat Broja has plenty of admirers in the Premier League, including West Ham United and Southampton, as well as Everton. Although, the Hammers are said to be well-placed to land his signature as the player would 'prefer' to remain in London.

Everton are prepared to offer star Anthony Gordon a bumper new contract in order to fight off interest from Premier League rivals.

The Daily Mail say amid interest from Tottenham and Newcastle United, the Blues are 'hopeful' they can keep the 21-year-old and ensure he commits his future to the club. Amid reports, it is believed Everton will not entertain any offers for one of their star performers last season.

The article adds there is a belief at Goodison Park that Gordon is worthy of a fresh deal that reflects his value and status in the team following an impressive breakthrough campaign.

Middlesbrough could target Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite for a loan move this summer.

The Championship club are 'resigned' to losing Djed Spence and are set to pocket £15m, which will kick-start their summer transfer plans. Taylor claims Branthwaite could be a target this window.

He told his YouTube channel: “Boro are resigned to losing Spence, but they need that money through the door to fund their promotion push, there’s a few targets on the agenda, not least a striker, Dwight Gayle is a player they’ve looked at. Coventry’s Viktor Gyokeres is a player they’ve also targeted, Ellis Simms is under consideration as well, while Jarrad Branthwaite, the Everton centre-back, is a player they’d like to take on loan as well."
