Everton transfer rumours rated - Scouts watch Joao Felix as Marco Silva closes in on Santiago Sosa

The transfer window is well and truly open for business and Everton continue to be linked to a host of names.

Marco Silva and Marcel Brands face yet another big summer at Goodison Park and will be aiming to secure their deals nice an early ahead of the pre-season preparations.

Here are the latest transfer rumours doing the rounds for Everton on Tuesday.

Who? Benfica starlet Joao Felix is one of the most sought-after youngsters in European football at present. It's being claimed that Everton have sent scouts to watch the attacking midfielder in action.

Where? Portuguese publication Sapo Desporto report: "From England, the highlight goes to the presence of [scouts] of Everton and Manchester United. The Old Trafford club has been a regular presence at the Stadium of Light to observe Joao Felix."

What? As mentioned, Felix is one of the most highly-rated young players in Europe right now and there is plenty of interest from some giants of the world game. Everton will be entering a crowded room if they go to auction for the 19-year-old.

Who? Everton are closing in on a deal for young River Plate midfielder Santiago Sosa. It's being claimed that Sosa would cost around €15million.

Where? One Football report : "The player's representative, Hernan Berman, will travel to Goodison Park in the coming days to define the details of the agreement that, if materialized, would mean a fundamental contribution to clean up [River's] finances."

What? This is one to keep an eye on. The 20-year-old Sosa is still in the fledgling stages of his career, but a move to the Premier League could be in the offing.
