Everton have stepped up their summer business this week by confirming two signings in two days. Ruben Vinagre arrived at Goodison Park on loan from Sporting Lisbon on Wednesday, with Dwight McNeil’s permanent move to Merseyside from Burnley - joining James Tarkowski - announced on Thursday.
The Toffees will be keen to ride the wave of new arrivals and use the momentum to secure further signings. Frank Lampard is keen on reinforcements upfront with Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s injury problems recurring, while additions in central midfield remain high on his list of priorities.
And with plenty still needed to come in at Goodison Park and business now well underway, several exciting players have been linked with a move. And here at the Echo, we’ve taken a look at three options tipped by the bookies.

Armando Broja
Recent developments at two Premier League rivals have put Everton in pole position for the signature of Armando Broja. The Albanian forward spent last season on loan at Southampton, scoring six goals in 32 appearances, and he is looking for another chance at regular football away from Chelsea.
West Ham and Newcastle United were both keen on a deal for the 20-year-old, but the Hammers’ signing of Gianluca Scamacca for £30million has taken them out of the race, while Eddie Howe cannot guarantee the regular first-team minutes that Broja demands.
That has put the Toffees in the driving seat, with Frank Lampard’s side backed at 6/4 to sign the Chelsea youngster, ahead of the likes of Newcastle, Southampton and Leeds United.
Everton - 6/4
Newcastle United - 2/1
Southampton - 12/1
Leeds United - 20/1
Connor Gallagher
Lampard seems keen to use his Chelsea connections to land a couple of their hot prospects - similarly to his work at Derby County - and the prospect of signing Connor Gallagher is one that excited the Toffees boss.
Gallagher spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace and impressed massively at Selhurst Park with eight goals and three assists in 34 league games. His dynamism in midfield and attacking output are two attributes Everton were desperate for last season, but they will have to battle a host of Premier League rivals to his signature - a move to Goodison is currently at 10/1.
The player himself has said he wants to stay with the London club and fight for his place.
Aston Villa - 8/1
Crystal Palace - 8/1
Newcastle United - 9/1
Everton - 10/1
Harry Winks
The England midfielder is almost certain to leave Tottenham this summer after falling out of favour with Antonio Conte, who has since added Yves Bissouma to his squad. But interest from a number of top-flight sides highlights that Harry Winks is still valued as a potential addition.
The 26-year-old has 128 league appearances under his belt and would add both energy and composure in possession to the Toffees midfield. Lampard may be dissuaded by the £25million price-tag, however a move to Goodison is currently backed as the most likely option at 4/1 - ahead of Leicester and Southampton.
Everton - 4/1
Leicester City - 5/1
Southampton - 6/1
Leeds United - 20/1
