Everton ticket and ballot details for Wolves fixture confirmed

Goodison Park will welcome back supporters for the first time since December when Everton take on Wolves in May.

The Blues have confirmed that they will be able to host 6,500 fans for the visit of Nuno Espirito Santo's side after the fixture was moved to May 18th or 19th by the Premier League on Friday afternoon.

Coronavirus regulations have kept supporters away from their seats across the country since the beginning of the year, although the club were able to welcome 2,000 Evertonians for home matches against Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United earlier this season.

This time around, all four stands inside Goodison will be open to fans, rather than just the Gwladys Street and the Main Stand as it was previously.

Supporters who were successful in ballots for the cancelled Man City match in December and the West Ham game which was eventually held behind-closed-doors in January will be given priority in the ballot for the clash against Wolves.

Those supporters will be contacted via email on Sunday 3 May with details of how to confirm their tickets for the game.

Priority will then pass to those season ticket holders who have not yet been successful in a ballot for any match this season - meaning if you have already attended a reduced-capacity match at Goodison this season, it's very unlikely you will be successful in this ballot.

The registration period for Season Ticket Members will run from 9am on Tuesday 4 May to 12pm (midday) on Friday 7 May. Those successful will then be able to choose their seats from 9am on Monday 10 May until 5pm on Wednesday 12 May.

Reduced hospitality packages will also be available due to coronavirus restrictions.

Stadia across the country are allowed to host up to 10,000 people for Premier League matches if they have the facilities to do so.

However, the size of respective concourses in particular have meant that a number of sides in the top division have not been able to meet requirements to hit that target.

Everton have maximised their allowance, with facilities at Goodison meaning that 6,500 is the most the club can safely get into the ground for this game - with other sides in the Premier League not being able to reach even that figure.
