Everton team news confirmed for Tottenham Hotspur as James Rodriguez misses out

James Rodriguez’s calf injury has not healed sufficiently for him to face Spurs in tonight’s FA Cup fifth round tie.

And Jordan Pickford’s rib issue, which has seen him miss the last two matches, also continues to keep him sidelined.

Carlo Ancelotti has brought back Yerry Mina, Alex Iwobi and Gylfi Sigurdsson into the starting line-up but there is also no Andre Gomes or Fabian Delph in the squad.

The Everton boss is permitted to name nine substitutes for FA Cup ties but has selected only seven, including two goalkeepers, with injuries limiting his options.

Robin Olsen continues in goal with Ben Godfrey, Michael Keane, Mina and Lucas Digne making up the back four.

Abdoulaye Doucoure, Tom Davies and Gylfi Sigurdsson - tonight’s captain - are in midfield with Iwobi, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison the attackers.

On the bench are Joao Virginia, Harry Tyrer, Mason Holgate, Bernard, Seamus Coleman, Tyler Onyango and Niels Nkounkou.

Everton: Olsen; Godfrey, Mina, Keane, Digne; Doucoure, Davies, Sigurdsson; Iwobi, Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison.

Subs: Virginia, Tyrer, Holgate, Bernard, Coleman, Onyango, Nkounkou
