Everton team news confirmed as Anthony Gordon given Manchester United chance

Rafa Benitez has handed Anthony Gordon his first Premier League start of the season for Everton as they travel to Manchester United on Saturday afternoon.

The Blues have made one change to the line-up which beat Norwich City 2-0 last weekend, with Alex Iwobi dropping out of the squad with injury.

The starting 11 suggests that Everton will stick with something of a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Gordon being a straight swap on the left flank.

The youngster's only other start so far this campaign has come against Queens Park Rangers in the Carabao Cup.

Meanwhile, there are spaces on the bench for two youngsters - with both Lewis Dobbin and Charlie Whitaker making up the selection of substitutes.

Everton: Pickford, Godfrey, Mina, Keane, Digne, Doucoure, Allan, Townsend, Gray, Gordon, Rondon.

Substitutes: Begovic, Lonergan, Kenny, Holgate, Branthwaite, Gbamin, Davies, Whitaker, Dobbin
