Dominic Calvert-Lewin returns to the starting line-up for the first time in over four months as Everton make four changes for the game with Brighton.
The Blues play for the first time since drawing with Chelsea in mid-December and Lucas Digne is back in the squad.
Rafa Benitez has recalled Seamus Coleman, Demarai Gray, Allan and Calvert-Lewin to the starting XI.
Calvert-Lewin has not played since the corresponding fixture at the end of August where the Blues' No9 scored in a 2-0 win.
But the England striker suffered a thigh problem which has kept him out of the side ever since.
