Everton supporters name best and worst stadiums in England with surprise mentions

Everton supporters have had their say on their favourite and least favourite grounds to watch football in.

Here at the ECHO, we gave readers the opportunity to vote for which stadiums they felt were the best and the worst to visit as Everton fans - and the results have thrown up a couple of surprises.

To make things fair, Everton supporters were not allowed to vote for Goodison Park, but the stadium they most enjoy watching football in is the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The iconic London ground scooped a huge 16.8% of the vote.

Since Spurs moved to their new ground from White Hart Lane, Everton have enjoyed mixed fortunes at the venue. The Blues’ first game there ended in a 2-2 draw, their second visit resulted in a 1-0 win thanks to Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s header, while their most recent trip ended in a 5-0 hammering earlier this season.

In second was Wembley with 12.1% of the vote, while Anfield was in third and Selhurst Park and Villa Park shared fourth. While half of the Everton supporters who took part in our pole voted Anfield as the worst stadium to watch football in. The ground of Liverpool claimed a huge 50% of the vote.

In second was Manchester United's Old Trafford ground with 6.1% of the vote. The Etihad was in third with 5.5% of the vote, and Burnley’s Turf Moor came in at number four on the list.
