Everton will chase the signing of a winger this summer.
The Blues are currently looking for a wide-man and a new right-back to give Carlo Ancelotti's squad an injection of quality.
Ancelotti recently said that Everton would be target between two and three signings in the transfer market and a right-back and winger are among the club's priorities.
The Everton boss said on Friday that a new striker was not on his wish-list with Moise Kean due to return from his season-long loan spell with Paris Saint Germain.
A decision will also have to be made on the future of Josh King whose short-term deal at Goodison comes to an end in June.
Should Kean be sold this summer then it is expected the Blues would look to replace him.
Ancelotti also wants to turn goalkeeper Robin Olsen's loan move from AS Roma into a permanent switch.
Everton will need to offload players again this summer with Bernard and Jonjoe Kenny among those to be made available for sale.
The Blues will lose Theo Walcott, Yannick Bolasie and Mo Besic off the wage bill but Kean is seen as the club's most sale-able asset as they look to generate funds to help improve their summer budget.
A new right-back has long been on Everton's radar but the market is said to be limited for players who fit the Blues' criteria but the options for a winger are believed to be better.
It is expected that Everton will search for a left-footed player and, at this stage, the belief is the club are leaning towards a player in the age range of 20-25/6, rather than an older name.
