Everton suffer selection blow ahead of Manchester United fixture

Everton will be without star forward Richarlison for their Premier League game against Manchester United on November 7.

The Brazilian was given a straight red card during the Merseyside derby against Liverpool following a late challenge on Thiago Alcantara. Everton rescued a draw against their rivals thanks to Dominic Calvert-Lewin after goals from Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

As a result, he will serve a three-match suspension - similarly to Anthony Martial after his red against Tottenham - following his dismissal against Jurgen Klopp's side.

Richarlison will miss Everton's away games against Southampton and Newcastle as well as the fixture against United.

The Reds travel to Goodison Park on November 7 to face Carlo Ancelotti's men who are yet to lose in the Premier League after their first five fixtures.

United face Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, RB Leipzig, Arsenal and Istanbul Basaksehir before the game against Everton following their win over Newcastle on Saturday night.
