Everton Ladies have submitted plans for upgrades at their home ground that would allow matches there to be televised.
The team play at Liverpool Soccer Centre, next to Walton Hall Park, and could be set to make a raft of changes to the ground.
Plans submitted with an application to Liverpool council say the changes, which would see new stands added, are needed so the ground can meet the standards for the upcoming season.
The documents say: "The current facilities at the site do not meet the Football Association ground grading requirements for The Women’s Super League.
"The proposal is to bring facilities up to a higher standard to allow for increased profile games to be played and make the centre capable of accommodating a wider range of levels of players."

The new stands, built either side of an existing seating area, would bring capacity up to 500 people.
A raised gantry to allow TV cameras to film would also be added, with the club saying this is also required to meet the FA guidelines.
The documents say: "Part of the upgrading is to allow for televised games to be played on site and as part of this requirement the proposal is to screen the pitch off from the park.
"This North East boundary fence will be replaced or upgraded to a 3m high wire mesh fence which will be clad with a green woven nylon fabric."

New turnstiles would be added to the ground - and posts would be fitted on the sides of the pitch that border Walton Hall Park so that open ball netting can be put in place during matches.
The car park at the pitches is used for matchday parking for both Anfield and Goodison Park - this would be unchanged in the plans.
It comes as the Blues continue work on plans for a new home for the men's team at Bramley Moore Dock on the city's waterfront.
Everton hope to be able to submit a planning application for the stadium in autumn.
