Everton youngster Lewis Dobbin says he will remember his first goal in senior football for the rest of his life.
The 19-year-old striker is currently on loan with League One side Derby County and, after 12 appearances in all competitions for the Rams, he found the back of the net on Tuesday evening against Mansfield Town in the Papa John's Trophy.
Dobbin ran onto a forward pass in the 29th minute and cut inside onto his right foot before calmly stroking the ball low into the far corner of the net, as Paul Warne's side drew 1-1 with the Stags.

Speaking after the match, Dobbin said: "It's an amazing feeling when you get your first goal, especially for this club. It's very special and I think it's one I will remember for the rest of my life. I'm happy it finally clicked and hopefully this is the start now and I can keep going and get some more.
"I think they (Mansfield) had quite a high line, so I just made eye contact with Haydon (Roberts). He's played it in behind them and once I'm one-v-one with the defender I back myself against most players."
Dobbin joined Everton's youth ranks at the age of 11 and has already made three Premier League appearances for the Blues. His first-team debut came as a substitute in a 2-0 win against Norwich City on September 25, 2021. He was also given minutes in matches against Manchester United and Chelsea and appeared in FA Cup games against Hull City and Boreham Wood.
Derby are currently eighth in League One following their relegation from the Championship at the end of last season. Dobbin is on loan at Pride Park until the end of the season.
