Everton striker Moise Kean's defiant message to those who 'judge' him

Everton striker Moise Kean has returned to social media for the first time since the club condemned his actions for posting a video of a lockdown party he hosted.

The Blues player took to Instagram to declare: “If you don’t know me don’t judge me. Just know I’m working…”

The message was accompanied by montage footage of Kean training, with the 20-year-old shown kicking a ball, hurdling, doing shuttle runs and lifting weights against the backdrop of an expletive-ridden music soundtrack.

Last month Everton released a statement condemning Kean’s actions after he flaunted not observing the safety measures of the coronavirus lockdown.

The Mirror reported that the Italian international filmed himself partying at his Cheshire apartment, saying that Kean sent video clips to a private Snapchat group, with the footage showing female guests giving lap dances and other suggestive actions.

The caption on one picture was labelled ‘quarantine clean’.

The club statement said: “Everton are appalled to learn of an incident in which a first-team player ignored Government guidance and club policy in relation to the coronavirus crisis.

“The club has strongly expressed its disappointment to the player and made it clear that such actions are completely unacceptable.

“The amazing people in the NHS deserve the utmost respect for their hard work and sacrifice.

“The best way to show them respect is by doing everything we can to protect them.”

A £25million signing from Juventus last summer, Kean’s arrival at Everton was greeted as a significant coup for the club but he has scored just one goal in 26 matches so far for the Blues.
