Everton striker Fraser Hornby completes season-long loan move

Everton youngster Fraser Hornby has completed a season-long loan move to Belgian top division side KV Kortrijk.

The striker was an important member of David Unsworth's U23s side that won a brilliant double last season - claiming both the Premier League 2 and Premier League Trophy titles.

The 19-year-old had been attracting interest from a number of sides this summer including from two Championship clubs - and it initially looked as if a move to League One or Scotland would be on the cards.

However, KV Kortrijk have won the race for Hornby after finishing fourth in the Belgian top flight last term.

The youngster was handed his senior debut back in the 2017/18 campaign during the 3-0 win away to Apollon Limassol in the Europa League, before signing a new three-year contract with Everton in the summer of 2018.
