Everton starting line up for Brighton as Carlo Ancelotti drops three players

Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has dropped Yerry Mina, Seamus Coleman and Morgan Schneiderlin for today’s game with Brighton.

Gylfi Sigurdsson and Theo Walcott have kept their places following the humiliation against Liverpool last weekend with Michael Keane, Tom Davies and Bernard coming in.

Sigurdsson will captain the team today.

Coleman, Mina and Schneiderlin are on the bench as Ancelotti makes three changes.

Jordan Pickford is in goal with a back four in front of him of Djibril Sidibe, Keane, Mason Holgate and Lucas Digne.

Everton’s midfield comprises of Walcott, Davies, Sigurdsson and Bernard with Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin upfront.

Jonas Lossl returns to the bench and sits alongside Leighton Baines, Fabian Delph, Coleman, Mina, Schneiderlin and Moise Kean.

Anthony Gordon travelled with the squad to Goodison but does not make the matchday 18.
