Everton stars feeding families for a month and supplying essentials

Big hearted Everton players Richarlison and Yerry Mina are looking after people in their hometowns during the coronavirus crisis.

Brazil star Richarlison is providing people in the region of Nova Venecia, where he was raised, with 500 food parcels with supplies that will last families a month.

Deliveries of the packages have started and the Everton forward is also auctioning off items of personal memorabilia in order to raise money for the relief effort back in his native Brazil.

Mina, meanwhile, has used his charity the Yerry Mina Foundation, to send food, essential hygiene and cleaning supplies to people in his hometown of Guachene in Colombia.

The Foundation has been in operation since 2016 and he said: “I try to do what’s right in my heart.

“Whatever good I’ve got in me, I try to pass it on."
