Everton starlet shows immense act of generosity to three struggling families

Everton youngster Nathangelo Markelo has shown immense kindness by asking to help three families in need.

Following the coronavirus outbreak and subsequent lockdown measures which have been put in place, many people have been placed under financial pressure.

The Under-23s starlet has recognised this and wants to help those most in need during the crisis.

In a post to Instagram, a message from Markelo read: "Do you know someone who is having a hard time in this age of coronavirus? (think of no work or no/little income).

"Or are you in a situation where you or your family are having a hard time?

"Please send me a message about who it is and what the situation is.

"I will give three families a small gift that can help!"

The 21-year-old defender has encouraged anyone who may need help to directly message him on the social media app.

Fans have reacted to Markelo's generous act by replying to the Dutchman's post, one supporter commented: "Amazing that lad"

Meanwhile, one fan said: "Respect man" As another replied: "Well done mate".
