Lookman to join RB Leipzig
Everton’s Ademola Lookman is Bundesliga bound.
Sky Sports report the former Charlton winger is on his way to Leipzig ahead of a medical.
He is poised to join RB Leipzig on a £22.5 million deal, joining Ethan Ampadu, who joined on loan from Chelsea on Tuesday.
Leipzig will reportedly pay £16 million up front with the rest being add-ons.
United locked in Pepe talks
Reports both home and abroad claim Manchester United are in talks with Lille winger Nicolas Pepe.
Lille are said to be demanding more than £70 million for the player with a host of top clubs linked.
United are now in talks with the Ligue 1 club and are one of the favourites to sign the 24-year-old.
Hertha want Nelson
Reports in Germany suggest Hertha Berlin are keen on signing Gunners youngster Reiss Nelson.
The 19-year-old impressed last season while on loan with Bundesliga side Hoffenheim.
He could now return to Bundesliga if Hertha are successful in thrashing out a deal.
Zidane given Bale assurance
Zinedine Zidane was promised by Real Madrid officials that Gareth Bale would be gone ahead of the 2019/20 season, according to former president Ramon Calderon.
Calderon told Sky Sports News: “He did not make any effort with our language, which was a problem.”
Newcastle in for winger
L’equipe claim Newcastle United are chasing Nice winger Allan Saint-Maximin.
The report claim the Magpies are interested with Nice lowering their asking price to £23 million.
Premier League rivals Watford have also been linked with a move for the Frenchman.
