Everton star Richarlison reacts to Premier League nomination snub

Everton striker Richarlison has reacted after the Premier League failed to name him as a nominee for the Young Player of the Season award.

The Brazilian forward, who scored 13 times for the Blues and completed three assists last term, was left off the prestigious list.

Those named on the list include Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold, Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish, Manchester United's Mason Greenwood and Sheffield United loanee Dean Henderson.

Anthony Martial was also nominated alongside team-mate Marcus Rashford as were Chelsea duo Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic.

The 23-year-old took to social media to question the Premier League's decision and air his frustration at being left out.

He replied to the official announcement of the nominees saying: "I’m 30 years [old] no rich no party"

Blues fans have loved the response from Richarlison with it having already received 1.8k likes within 20 minutes of being posted.

Richarlison's team-mate Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who also scored 13 times last term, also failed to make the list despite notching an impressive goals return.
