Everton send PSG clear message over Moise Kean loan deal

Everton will not grant any request from Paris Saint German for Moise Kean's loan move to include an option to buy the striker.

The Blues are tonight insisting that the 20-year-old striker still has a long-term future at Goodison and they are only granting his request to go out on loan so he can pick up much-needed game-time this season.

Talks are on-going between Everton and the Champions League finalists but the Blues have made it clear they are not entertaining the idea of including a clause, at a pre-agreed fee, for PSG to buy Kean in the summer.

Everton's stance over the Italian striker's short-term future, however, has softened as the window has progressed.

The club were insistent that they had no intention of allowing Kean to leave, making it clear that he was "100%" in their plans.

But with Kean facing a season spent largely on the bench, given the form of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison, the £25m striker pushed for a loan move so he could pick up minutes on the pitch.

On Friday, Carlo Ancelotti told reporters that he would be happy to "talk" about a loan move should Kean request one and Everton are now in advanced discussions with the Ligue 1 outfit over a season-long switch but have made it clear today that the youngster will return to the first-team fold next season at Goodison.
