Everton's Yannick Bolasie asking price confirmed as winger up for transfer this summer

A clause in Yannick Bolasie's contract means he can leave Everton for £10m this summer.

The Blues are ready to sell the out-of-favour winger and the ECHO can reveal an agreement in the five-year-deal he signed with the club means the asking price has already set.

Reports this week credited Southampton and Newcastle with interest in Bolasie but the transfer fee mentioned was lower at £7m.

Bolasie was sent on loan to Aston Villa at the start of the season but exercised an option in the deal with the Championship club to return to Goodison early.

But the 29-year-old's prospects under Marco Silva had not improved and so he secured a last-gasp loan switch to Anderlecht on deadline day in January.

As it stands Bolasie, who has two years left on his Everton contract worth around £70,000 a week, will return to pre-season training with Silva's squad in July.
