Everton are in negotiations with a potential shirt sleeve sponsor.
The identity of the brand is not yet known but the Blues are in talks as they continue to search for a replacement for Rovio, the makers of the Angry Birds video game.
Rovio held a three-year agreement with the club which was worth around £1m-a-year.
That deal came to an end in September and Everton have been working on finding a new sleeve sponsor since.
The ECHO understands that a couple of leads have led to talks but not ended in a deal.
Everton have been adamant that they wanted to find a partner who would meet their valuation for the shirt sleeve deal and have been conscious of finding a sponsor that fits within the club's ethos.
Earlier this week, Tottenham Hotspur announced they had agreed a "multi-year" deal with online car retailer cinch to become their new shirt sleeve sponsor.
