Everton's Jonjoe Kenny in line for Schalke move with Bundesliga switch on the cards

German side Schalke are leading the race to sign Jonjoe Kenny on loan.

The Everton right-back has been made available on a temporary deal this summer and the Bundesliga outfit want him.

But Kenny also has offers from England with Burnley among the clubs interested in the 22-year-old.

Schalke, however, are favourites to secure his services at this point with new manager David Wagner, sacked by Huddersfield Town last season, keen on the Kirkdale youngster.

Kenny held talks with Marco Silva at the end of the season where the England under-21 international was told he could leave on loan.

Seamus Coleman remains Everton's first-choice right-back and the Blues are intent on adding another player in that position this summer.

Kenny made only 13 appearances last season and despite an injury to Coleman ahead of the final game of the season at Spurs, Silva opted to play Kurt Zouma in his place.
