Everton's Bramley-Moore stadium project still on track after Dan Meis tweets

Everton's new stadium project is still going ahead as planned after cryptic tweets from architect Dan Meis caught the eye of some.

The Blues submitted a detailed planning application on their new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium in December, after the designs for the new ground blew supporters away upon their release in July 2019.

The architect tweeted: "If I learned anything from this year it is that when someone says 'it isn’t personal, it is just business' I probably shouldn’t have been in business with them to begin with..."

The ECHO understands that Bramley-Moore Dock is still on the same schedule and is still going ahead, with planning application due to be determined in the summer.

If approved, construction can then begin on the site soon after, in what is expected to be a three-year build.

Alongside detailed plans for Bramley-Moore Dock, determination is expected in the summer surrounding Everton's outline planning application for their Goodison Park Legacy Project.
