Everton have confirmed that they will take part in a modified pre-season tournament this summer.
The Blues have arrived in Florida for a mini-tournament that was originally meant to see them face top level European opposition.
However, after Arsenal and Inter Milan decided to withdraw from the competition due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a new plan is being put in place.
Everton will still take on Colombian outfit Millonarios in the United States on Sunday, which is due to kick off at 11pm BST.
The club have also confirmed that an additional friendly match is currently in the works to take place on Wednesday, July 28, and will be announced in due course.
Everton said on their website: "Everton will now take part in The Florida Cup in a modified format following the withdrawal of Arsenal and Inter Milan.
"As planned, the Blues will face 15-time Colombian champions Millonarios on Sunday 25 July, kick-off 6pm (ET), 11pm (BST).
"Additional updates to the tournament schedule will be announced shortly, with a second match planned for Wednesday 28 July."
It has also been announced that fans who purchased tickets for the original line-up of matches will receive refunds via Ticketmaster.
Season ticket holders will be sent additional information at their point of purchase.
The club say that general admission tickets are available for both matches, despite the opposition for the second fixture yet to be announced.
