How Everton could line up against West Ham - Marco Silva forced into one significant change

Phil Kirkbride - Silva's strongest 11 is clear

Marco Silva has to make one change - and it should be his only one.

The injured Yerry Mina makes way for Kurt Zouma (as he may have done anyway) and that should be that.

Right now, this XI looks Everton's strongest.

Adam Jones - Digne's fitness is crucial

As good a player as Leighton Baines is, and has been over the years of his Everton career, it's really good to see Lucas Digne fit and available for this match.

The Frenchman has been the Blues' best player this term and would be massively missed if he were still injured, regardless of the obvious quality of his replacement.

Alongside him, Kurt Zouma will have to be reintroduced to the defence in place of Yerry Mina, which is a shame considering how well the latter played against Chelsea last time out.

Apart from that, Marco Silva should be able to leave the rest of his side unchanged.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin should keep his opportunity to impress up front despite Cenk Tosun's goalscoring exploits for Turkey over the international break, being flanked by Bernard and Richarlison .

David Prentice - No shocks this time

No shocks, no surprises, nothing to see here, move along.

After all, if it ain't broke, don't fix it - and while Everton's first half performance last time out against Chelsea was certainly broken, after the interval it was most definitely fixed.

So let's go with the same again.

Everton boss Marco Silva explains what Blues want in a striker as transfer plans take shape

Obviously Yerry Mina won't be involved, but Kurt Zouma is available again and an obvious - some would say (myself included) - better option anyway.

Other than that it's as you were.
