Everton player ratings for the season so far with two Blues joint top

It has been a season where there has understandably been more discussion about managers than players at Everton.

On the pitch there has been inconsistency for the Blues with a few notable highs, including the win at home to Chelsea.

At the same time there have been some dismal defeats to the likes of Norwich and Aston Villa.

Yet as the Carlo Ancelotti revolution takes hold, Everton are now really finding form and beginning to climb the table.

And judging by our player ratings of the campaign so far, two stars in particular are standing out.

Everton's joint highest ranked player this season with an average score of 6.6/10 is Mason Holgate who has played in every game since October.

Arguably his best performance came against Manchester United in a holding midfield position, which earned him 8/10.

Joint top with the exact same average score as Holgate is Richarlison, who has the most goal involvements for Everton this season with nine strikes and three assists.

The Brazilian star was given a 9/10 for the 3-2 win against Wolves and he has delivered a string of 8/10 performances of late.

Another defender who sits just behind Holgate and Richarlison in the overall ratings is Yerry Mina with an average of 6.5.

The Colombian international has been putting in performances worthy of the £27.5million Everton splashed out for his services.

Morgan Schneiderlin has the lowest average score of the campaign so far with 5.5.

But he did just register an 8/10 for his performance against Crystal Palace

Gylfi Sigurdsson is the second lowest with an average rating of 5.52 - and getting improvement from him will no doubt be high on Ancelotti's agenda.
