Jordan Pickford - 6
Poor distribution in the early stages played Everton into a lot of danger and perhaps aided West Brom's confidence, although there was little he could do about the opening goal. Things improved somewhat in the second period however.
Seamus Coleman - 7
Despite being handed a few problems defensively in the opening stages by the impressive Grady Diangana, the right back was a constant threat in terms of breaking up the pitch and his link-up was crucial. That continued in the second period with little of the defensive pressure.
Yerry Mina - 6
A sloppy first half from the Colombia international in possession, and he really shouldn't have stood off Diangana for so long in the lead up to the opening goal. Again the defender improved in the second period but there were still a couple of shaky moments.
Michael Keane - 8
Much more comfortable than his teammate both in and out of possession throughout the game and is turning himself into a leader from the back. His second goal in as many games will be an added bonus to what was another strong performance.
Lucas Digne - 8
Caused so many problems for the West Brom defence throughout. His energy to get up and down the flank played a huge part in Everton getting on top in this game, as did his strong set piece deliveries and dangerous long throw ability.
Abdoulaye Doucoure - 7
Has a real knack for picking up any loose ball that appears in midfield and always looks sharp and ready to get Everton on the front foot again. Those qualities will certainly be very important for the Blues in future weeks.
Allan - 8
Forever chased down West Brom's midfielders when they were in possession and completed a number of important tackles in the centre of the pitch. He harries opponents into mistakes and makes sure they don't have an easy game.
Andre Gomes - 6
A slack bit of play between the midfielder and James Rodriguez allowed West Brom in to take the lead and he gave the ball away in the build up to their second goal. Not the best display from the Portugal international this time.
James Rodriguez - 8
Wasn't utilised anywhere near as much as last weekend by Everton in the first half, but his quality on the ball shone through – typified by his great strike to put his side in front and a delightful chip over the top of the defence in the build up to the fourth goal.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin - 9
Bagged himself a well-deserved hat trick and could have even scored more goals on the day as well. A real striker's performance from Calvert-Lewin this afternoon to really set his stall for the rest of the season.
Richarlison - 8
Was crucial to Everton's link-up play throughout the game and played a vital role in two of the goals in particular, setting up James Rodriguez to score and also playing the ball across for Calvert-Lewin's second. No goal of his own, but a great performance all the same.
SUBS
Gylfi Sigurdsson - 7
A few really nice touches in midfield after being introduced and a great ball into the box for a Richarlison strike which was unfortunately ruled out for offside.
Alex Iwobi - 6
Was introduced with Everton cruising and was always in search of possession to link-up with teammates.
Moise Kean - 6
Similar to Iwobi in many respects. Kean was introduced out wide rather than his usual striking position when the match had already wound down.
