Everton player ratings as James Rodriguez and Abdoulaye Doucoure shine in win over Crystal Palace

Jordan Pickford 7

Had little to do other than pick Kouyate's equaliser out of the net. A couple of unconvincing punches in the second-half but a relatively quiet afternoon

Seamus Coleman 7

Made a slow start but came alive with a fine assist for Calvert-Lewin's opening goal. Solid throughout

Yerry Mina 7

Handled Zaha well and vocal throughout the first-half but his decision-making was up and down thereafter.

Michael Keane 8

Brought the ball out well from the back and defended well in the first-half - but was culpable for Palace's equaliser.

Yet, as Palace pushed and pushed for a leveller, he was really solid.

Lucas Digne 8

A good half for Everton's highly consistent left-back. His header won the penalty from which Everton made it 2-1.

Allan 7

Pressured by Jordan Ayew a lot in the first-half and didn't have it all his own way. Felt more infuential as Palace pushed for an equaliser after the break

Abdoulaye Doucoure 8

Found it tough with Palace in his face a lot. But involved in the build-up to the opener and brilliantly tracked – and tackled – Zaha in the second period. He got better as the game progressed

Andre Gomes 7

Looked to get Everton moving forward whenever he gets the ball. Definitely suits the position.

Richarlison 7

Looked a threat as always but hadn't always made the best of the situations Everton created for him. But converted his penalty confidently to make it 2-1. With Keane, at fault for Palace's goal.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin 7

In the right place at the right time to open the scoring. He's making a habit of that.

Wasted two good chances to make it 3-1. Too often left isolated after the break

James Rodriguez 8

Worth an 8 for the pass into Coleman alone. Played another fine pass to send Richarlison through on the counter-attack and one of his trademark switching pass from right to left that picked out Digne in the build-up to the penalty decision.

Less influential in the second-half as he tired.

Gylfi Sigurdsson (on for Gomes '76) 7

Used the ball well at a point in the game when his team-mates were not.

Alex Iwobi (on for Rodriguez '86) 5

Will be disappointed with his cameo. Gave the ball away on a couple of occasions

Tom Davies (on for Richarlison ‘90) 6

Little time to make an impact
