Everton player ratings as Hanna Bennison excellent and six more good in dramatic Leicester win

Emily Ramsey - 7

Called into action a number of times throughout the match, mainly from speculative long-range efforts in the first half. She produced a great save from Jemma Purfield's free kick early in the second period though to make sure she kept a clean sheet.

Katrine Veje - 6

Began the match well in attempting to break forwards from her position on the left of the back three, but didn't find the opportunity to do that as often as the match went on. She was eventually substituted surely before the end of the game.

Rikke Sevecke - 6

A solid presence as part of the back three, hardly ever putting a foot wrong throughout the first 45 minutes. She was tested a little bit more after the break as Leicester fashioned opportunities, but she was up to the challenge.

Megan Finnigan - 6

Throughout the game she wasn't called into much action beyond interceptions and headers away, but she did them all very well. A solid performance in what was her 150th game for the club on Thursday evening, a fantastic achievement recognised by the Blues before kick off.

Gabby George - 6

A lot of work goes into those wing-back spots and George certainly lived up to that during her time on the pitch. She took multiple opportunities to break forwards around the edge of the box, but her crosses just couldn't find teammates in the centre - while her defensive work was very strong as well.

Lucy Graham - 7

Playing as a wing-back, Graham often seemed more of a winger with how often she was breaking forward into attacking areas and causing issues for Leicester. She managed to always be back in position defensively too.

Nathalie Bjorn - 7

Through most of the first half it looked as though she was going to be the key for Everton, with her through-balls to the front line managing to send each of them in behind what was a solid Leicester defence. She continued to look strong on the ball throughout the second period and is growing into this midfield position.

Aurora Galli - 6

It was a real battle in the midfield for much of her time on the pitch and it was a struggle for either side to pick up reasonable amounts of possession. Galli looked to be improving in that sense at the beginning of the second half but was replaced just after the hour mark.

Izzy Christiansen - 6

The captain didn't see as much possession as she would have liked, although she could have got an assist in the first half with a great run beyond the defence but her cross was just too far in front of a teammate. Full of energy as ever, but wasn't allowed to be as effective as she can be.

Jess Park - 6

Certainly had bright moments, particularly in the first half with a good run down the right before her cross towards Christiansen was cut out. However, Everton didn't get the ball to the Man City loanee enough for her to have the same effect as she did at Anfield.

Katja Snoeijs - 7

Didn't have the kind of opportunities in front of goal she would have wanted, apart from one in the first half which would have been ruled out for a foul regardless. However, her link-up play at the top end of the pitch has to be lauded as it is crucial for the way the Blues play.

SUBS

Hanna Bennison - 8

She instantly brought new energy to the side after her introduction and it was her floated free kick which eventually led to Everton's win.

Karen Holmgaard - 7

Almost had an instant impact straight after coming on with a great run and shot which tested the goalkeeper.

Gio - 7

Looked bright throughout her time on the pitch and almost created some good opportunities down the right flank.

Elise Stenevik - 6

Took advantage of the tired defence to break forwards down the left flank on numerous occasions.

Leo Maier - N/A
