Everton player ratings as five outstanding against Wolves

Jordan Pickford - 8

Has pulled off some great saves to keep Everton level across the opening 45 minutes. It was another confident display from the England international with Gareth Southgate watching on.

Seamus Coleman - 8

Certainly has responded to the return of supporters and used that for extra motivation and energy throughout the game. He was absolutely everywhere and had an effect at both ends of the pitch.

Yerry Mina - 7

A solid presence at the back for Everton once more and someone that was certainly missed during his injury absence. He was asked to do a lot of defending in the first half in particular and stood up to everything Wolves threw at him.

Michael Keane - 7

This was another really good performance as Keane looks to be getting back to his best once more. His perfectly-timed tackle after chasing down Adama Traore in the second half was almost worth a point in itself.

Ben Godfrey - 8

The defender was another man who seemingly took a lot of inspiration from the crowd to put in another fantastic performance. The watching England manager surely will have been viewing this display with interest.

Lucas Digne - 8

Was handed a pretty thankless task in marking Adama Traore but stood up to the test very well, and managed to cause havoc with a few strong deliveries into the box throughout.

Allan - 6

Everton struggled to keep possession for much of the first half in particular and the midfield battle was key to that. Four tackles and three clearances across the 90 minutes for Allan, however, showed a solid display on the defensive side though.

Abdoulaye Doucoure - 6

Doucoure was another that got into great positions defensively, but couldn't quite knit things together at the top end of the pitch on this occasion. He's still working his way back to fitness, so playing as long as he did will be vital again.

Gylfi Sigurdsson - 7

Wasn't able to create a lot in the first half, but really picked things up in the second period. His corner into the box for Richarlison's goal was textbook and he was so unlucky to not get on the scoresheet himself with a couple of long-range efforts.

Richarlison - 8

Looked much more sharp right from the get-go and his goal early in the second half only seemed to give him more confidence as the match went on. A really good display from the Brazilian here.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin - 6

Typically vibrant and energetic, and he made the right runs in behind the defence throughout, but the opportunities just didn't fall in the right manner for him on this occasion.

SUBSTITUTES

Tom Davies - 7

Made a really good interception inside the box to stop a dangerous Wolves attack almost straight after coming on.

Andre Gomes - N/A

Mason Holgate - N/A
