Everton open to offers for reigning under-23 player of season

Everton will listen to offers for Nathan Broadhead this summer.

The 22-year-old winger spent last season on-loan at Burton Albion in League One and continued to be selected for Wales under-21s during his spell at the Pirelli Stadium.

Broadhead scored three goals in 22 appearances for Burton and remains reigning Everton u-23 player of the season after lifting the award following a key role in the unprecedented league and cup double of 2019.

The ECHO understands there are several clubs currently interested in the youngster who has 12 months remaining on his contract at Goodison Park and Everton are open to striking a deal.

Broadhead - who has been called-up to a senior Wales training squad by manager Ryan Giggs - has been at the club for more than 11 years and made his first-team debut in the Europa League dead-rubber victory over Apollon Limassol in 2017.
