Everton next six Premier League fixtures compared to Leeds, Southampton and relegation rivals

Michael Keane was the saviour on Monday night as his piledriver secured a point against Tottenham Hotspur as Everton moved out of the relegation zone.

There is still just a point separating the Blues and the bottom three going into the next round of fixtures as a trip to Old Trafford looms for Sean Dyche when he faces Erik ten Hag's Manchester United.

Spurs were in the driving seat following Abdoulaye Doucoure's red card with Harry Kane opening the scoring from the penalty spot after the former Burnley defender felled Christian Romero. It soon became 10-v-10 when Lucas Moura was also sent for an early bath following a late challenge on the would-be point earner.

Until Keane left Hugo Lloris rooted to the spot, Everton would remain in the bottom three after the weekend's results went against them but the 30-year-old, who was out-of-favour at the beginning of the year, proved his worth with an unstoppable strike. The draw means the Blues remain unbeaten in four after draws with Nottingham Forest, Chelsea and the north London side plus their win over high-flying Brentford.

Southampton, Leicester City, Leeds, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest are all looking up at the Merseyside outfit as the point takes them to within three points of Crystal Palace in 12th.
