Everton continue talks with Nuno Espirito Santo rivals

Everton are continuing to talk with other managers despite Nuno Espirito Santo being favourite to replace Carlo Ancelotti.

Blues chiefs are refusing to rush to the decision to appoint a new boss even though the Portuguese appeared to be closing in on a deal over the weekend.

He has been described by insiders as a 'strong candidate' but the insistence was that no decision had been made.

And the ECHO understands the search for a new manager remains an ongoing process and the club are not just in talks with Espirito Santo.

Chairman Bill Kenwright appointed to key new stadium company

Everton chairman Bill Kenwright and Marcel Brands have been made directors of a club company dedicated to the new stadium.

Kenwright and Brands were appointed as a director on June 4, Companies House records have revealed today, and joined Denise Barrett-Baxendale and Sasha Ryazantsev.

Barrett-Baxendale and Ryanzantsev have been directors of Everton Stadium Development Limited since April 10, 2017, and are now joined by the Blues' chairman and director of football.

Previous directors in the company have been former chief executive officer Robert Elstone and ex-deputy chairman Keith Harris.
