Everton morning headlines as Carlo Ancelotti shares his frustration at fixture scheduling

Here are your Everton morning headlines for Sunday, November 1.

Ancelotti frustration at scheduling

Carlo Ancelotti has spoken to Everton Women manager Willie Kirk to offer his solidarity on the scheduling of the Women’s FA Cup final today.

The final - against Manchester City - takes place as Ancelotti’s side take on Newcastle United in the Premier League, in a decision which has upset the club and its fans.

Despite a petition and attempts to change the scheduling, there was nothing that could be done to change the fixture clash.

"Of course it's a shame," Kirk said, as per the Echo. "I spoke to Carlo about it and he finds it a shame that the kick-offs are so close to each other but there was very little we could do about it in terms of what we can control and what was out of our hands.

Royal Blue: Carlo Ancelotti delivers Everton team news ahead of Newcastle

"It is what it is but I'm sure the news of our victory, if that were to be the case, will get up to Newcastle very quickly and the men will celebrate to that."

Everton sponsors list

Everton secured a key deal for Russia-based MegaFon which will see them sponsor the Women’s team kits for next season.

As outlined by the Echo, MegaFon will be the main kit sponsorship while Yota - a subsidiary company - will have their logo on the sleeve of the shirt.

The club are also on the lookout for a new shirt-sleeve sponsor for the men’s team after the expiration of the £1m-a-year contract that was in place with Rovio, the creators of Angry Birds.

As outlined by the report, there are 11 different companies directly linked to the club at present.

Fans excited by Isco links

Everton supporters have shown their encouragement following reports linking the club with a move for Real Madrid playmaker Isco.

The Blues have been linked with a move to the Spaniard according to The Mirror and as highlighted by the Echo - who have given a flavour of the positive fan reaction to the rumour.

Isco has fallen out of favour in the Spanish capital in recent months and reports have suggested he could be on the way to be reunited with Ancelotti - his first manager at Madrid.
