For many Everton fans, the running order of Match of the Day is a running joke.
Indeed, it feels like supporters have to stay up late if they are to catch the highlights of the Toffees in action from the Premier League.
But that is actually not always the case.
Everton were actually last on Match of the Day just twice in the season just twice, that's as many times as neighbours Liverpool and fewer than all other sides excluding Tottenham, Manchester City, Manchester United, Aston Villa, West Ham and Chelsea.
The Toffees appeared first on Match of the Day five times. That's as many occasions as Manchester United, and more than Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs.
Brighton were last on MOTD on the most occasions, 11, with Liverpool leading the way for being first up having appeared 14 times.
The last spot in the Match of the Day running order was impacted quite a lot by the pandemic.
Watford were last in the running order eight times before lockdown - more often than any other club.
That’s followed by Norwich and Crystal Palace with seven times each and then Brighton with five times.
Newcastle United are the only club not to have been shown first on Match of the Day at all this season.
