Leeds United earned a hard-fought point away to Crystal Palace in tonight's Premier League clash, moving another point clear of Everton in the process.
There was nothing to split the sides at Selhurst Park on Monday evening, with neither side able to find the back of the net with a piece of clinical attacking play within the final third. This goalless draw means the Blues now trail Jesse Marsch's side by five points, though still have one game in hand.
Leeds went into this evening's contest on the back of three wins from their previous four top-flight outings, getting the better of Norwich, Wolves and Watford in recent weeks to spark a much-needed resurgence.

It is a result that has done Frank Lampard's side no favours, particularly given Palace's recent impressive form on home soil. The Eagles have suffered defeat in just one of their past seven matches at their ground, though were unable to produce another winning display in front of their loyal supporters on this occasion.
Everton will look to bounce back from Sunday's Merseyside derby when taking on Lampard's former side, Chelsea, at Goodison Park this weekend. The Londoners were rather unconvincing in their recent triumph over West Ham United, having been on the receiving end of a 4-2 loss by London rivals Arsenal just four days earlier.
