Everton loanee comments on potential return and admits doubt on future

Everton loanee Josh Bowler has admitted a certain level of doubt over his future.

The winger was sent out to Hull City on a temporary basis at the beginning of the campaign but struggled to nail down a regular starting place in the first half of the campaign thanks to the form of Jarrod Bowen and Kamil Grosicki.

The exits of both over the course of the January transfer window opened the door for the Blues youngster, but an injury further limited his time on the pitch.

Despite that, Bowler gave an interesting answer when recently asked about his future.

Taking part in a Q&A session on his Instagram page the winger was asked about potentially staying with the Championship side beyond the current season, and he admitted he wasn't sure where his future lies.

He said: "Who knows? Loves [sic] every second I've been at Hull but it's also a dream to play for Everton."

The 21-year-old was a key member of David Unsworth's double winning under-23 squad of 2018/19, but is yet to make an appearance for the senior side.
