Recap of Everton Q&A with response to transfers, Frank Lampard, new stadium and more

Welcome to a recap of the latest Everton Q&A, with the ECHO's EFC reporter Joe Thomas who answered questions around all the burning issues from supporters.

Everton are back from from their tour of Australia and now the focus is turning to January transfer window and the resumption of the Premier League and a busy period of festive fixtures.

The first part of season has been eventful at Goodison Park both on and off the pitch. Frank Lampard's side headed into the break for the World Cup languishing in 17th place in the table - a point above the drop zone - after seven defeats, five draws and just three wins.

Poor performances on the pitch have seen Lampard, and his players, come under the spotlight - especially after a league defeat to Bournemouth on the south coast.

Construction of Everton's new stadium is progressing well, although there have been some question marks over Farhad Moshiri's stewardship of the club in the longer term, especially relating to FFP and transfers, as rumours of a change of owner persist.
