'Carlo Ancelotti cannot change winning West Brom side' - Phil Kirkbride
While many played well in the 5-2 win over Fleetwood Town in midweek, Carlo Ancelotti cannot change the team that won by the same scoreline in the previous game.
And so the side that came out on top against West Brom, has to start at Palace.
Ancelotti has built some early season momentum with Everton by creating a squad spirit that has, so far, seen players play to impress him whenever given the chance.
The Blues played well in midweek but those who will return to the league side are sure to keep standards high.

Thankfully, allowing a lot of rests in midweek means the boss can keep the same side that started both of Everton's Premier League games so far this term,
While there were a few strong performances in midweek, they're not quite at the level to be breaking into this side as of yet.
Yerry Mina should return to central defence after his rest in midweek and will hopefully be back to his best form next to Michael Keane.
Allan should once again provide the defensive shield in front of them with Abdoulaye Doucoure and Andre Gomes playing those box-to-box roles which could prove so important in a match like this.
James Rodriguez could again be the important man as Everton try to break through what will no doubt be a resolute Crystal Palace side.
The hosts have momentum too, but this side from the Blues has the quality to win.

And, given their performances against Tottenham and West Brom in the opening two games, there is no reason why they can't do that.

I see no reason to change that line-up, particularly given the likes of James Rodriguez and Allan were rested midweek for the Carabao Cup match against Fleetwood while Abdoulaye Doucoure sat on the bench and both Dominic Calvert-Lewin and the goalscoring Richarlison were brought off during that 5-2 win.

It is hard not to imagine that Carlo Ancelotti won’t return to the starting line-up that defeated West Brom last week for this one.
Wednesday’s win over Fleetwood Town was another fine performance but changes can no doubt be expected this afternoon.
Jordan Pickford will no doubt remain in goal, despite his errors, while Seamus Coleman will, one imagines, come in for Jonjoe Kenny at right-back with Michael Keane, Yerry Mina and Lucas Digne making up the back four.
Then it will be a midfield three of Allan, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Andre Gomes with James Rodriguez, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison in front of them.
