Everton lineups for Wolves as Jean-Philippe Gbamin and Salomon Rondon decisions made

Chris Beesley - Richarlison leading line

After a couple of shock home defeats, Everton are in desperate need of a morale-boosting victory at Molineux tonight and need a positive reaction to their Watford capitulation nine days ago.

Richarlison has said that his return can help Salomon Rondon score more goals but for me the Venezuelan needs taking out of the firing line after a string of ineffectual performances.

Therefore the Brazilian Olympic gold medal winner - who netted twice on his Blues debut at Wolves back in 2018 - leads the line with the 32-year-old dropping down to the bench.

The defence is in desperate need of shoring up as well and it's to be hoped that Yerry Mina is fit to take his place at centre-back.

My team (4-2-3-1): Pickford; Coleman, Digne, Godfrey, Mina; Allan, Davies; Townsend, Gray, Gordon; Richarlison

Connor O'Neill - Salomon Rondon starts

After last week’s horror show against Watford, many Evertonians have every right to demand changes for tonight’s game.

But the reality is the Blues simply don’t have the squad to make changes and freshen things up, especially with the injuries Rafa Benitez currently has to deal with.

However, there is no doubt that Jordan Pickford will start in goal, with Lucas Digne at left-back and Seamus Coleman at right-back.

Both Michael Keane and Ben Godfrey struggled last weekend, but with Yerry Mina out, it is hard not to imagine that either will start on tonight.

Andros Townsend and Richarlison should start out wide, with Allan and Tom Davies in the middle of midfield.

Demarai Gray should then start in behind Salomon Rondon, who should once be tasked with leading the line.

My team (4-2-3-1): Pickford; Coleman, Keane, Godfrey, Digne; Allan, Davies; Townsend, Gray, Richarlison; Rondon

Sam Carroll - Jean-Philippe Gbamin starts

It is time for Jean-Philippe Gbamin.

If he isn't ready now, when will he be?

He comes in to add legs to the midfield while Richarlison leads the line.

Anthony Gordon deserves a start too - moving Demarai Gray into a roaming role - while Ben Godfrey and Michael Keane are almost given their place by default.

Yerry Mina would have been a huge boost at Molineux.

My team (4-2-3-1): Pickford; Coleman, Keane, Godfrey, Digne; Gbamin, Allan; Townsend, Gray, Gordon; Richarlison

Paul Wheelock - Anthony Gordon starts

Rafa Benitez may have defended Salomon Rondon’s work-rate in the build-up to the match, but with Richarlison back fit and boasting an excellent goalscoring record against Wolves, it’s time to take the Venezuelan out of the line-up and start with the Brazilian.

More players should join Rondon on the sidelines following the capitulation against Watford.

But Rafa Benitez does not look sold on Mason Holgate or Jean Philippe-Gbamin, and unless Andre Gomes is ready, the Everton manager’s other midfield options do not look the most appealing.

So it’s just the one change - but that’s mainly down to the players who are unavailable.

My team (4-2-3-1): Pickford; Coleman, Godfrey, Keane, Digne; Davies, Allan; Townsend, Gray, Gordon; Richarlison.
