Everton lineup against Arsenal as Jordan Pickford returns and Tom Davies replaces Allan

Tom Davies has been called up to replace the injured Allan as Everton take on Arsenal at Goodison tonight.

Allan was stretchered off against Leicester City in midweek with a hamstring problem and faces an extended spell on the sidelines.

Andre Gomes came off the bench at the King Power but it’s Davies who is given the nod this evening.

And, as Carlo Ancelotti promised, Jordan Pickford returns to the starting line-up having been rested for the win over the Foxes on Wednesday, with Robin Olsen dropping back down to the bench.

Everton are, otherwise, unchanged for this evening’s game with Mason Holgate set to continue at right-back despite Seamus Coleman’s return to fitness. Michael Keane, Yerry Mina and Ben Godfrey will make up the back four.

Alex Iwobi, Davies, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Richarlison will play in support of Gylfi Sigurdsson and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Meanwhile, for the visitors, there's no Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the Arsenal squad.

Take our 30-second Everton transfer survey and let us know what Carlo Ancelotti needs to do in the January window.
