Everton line up v Brighton and more injury blows as two strikers miss out

Carlo Ancelotti has made two changes to his starting line-up as Everton travel to face Brighton on Monday evening.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has dropped out of the squad for the trip to the south coast with Andre Gomes' injury keeping him out of contention.

And another striker, Josh King, also misses out.

Everton had already confirmed on Monday afternoon that Jean-Philippe Gbamin had not travelled with the squad after sustaining a "contact knee injury" in training, with the midfielder set to have a scan in London on Tuesday.

Robin Olsen continues in goal which Jordan Pickford recovers from injury - with all of Seamus Coleman, Lucas Digne, Yerry Mina, Michael Keane, Ben Godfrey and Mason Holgate starting in front of him - with a formation not yet clear.

Gylfi Sigurdsson comes into the side with Tom Davies keeping his place, while James Rodriguez is also involved with Richarlison leading the line.

The bench includes a number of under-23 stars with Reece Welch, Kyle John, Isaac Price, Harry Tyrer and Nathan Broadhead all involved.

Everton XI - Olsen; Coleman, Holgate, Mina, Keane, Digne, Godfrey, Davies, Sigurdsson, James, Richarlison
Subs - Virginia, Nkounkou, Welch, Iwobi, John, Tyrer, Broadhead, Price.
