Everton line-up confirmed for Watford as Andre Gomes passed fit and new signing makes full debut

Andre Gomes has been passed fit to face Watford at Goodison today as Jean-Philippe Gbamin makes his full debut.

Everton boss Marco Silva had been sweating on the fitness of Gomes after he was forced off against Crystal Palace last weekend because of an ankle injury.

But the Portuguese midfielder has been given the all clear to play and will partner Gbamin in the Blues’ engine room.

Deadline day signing Alex Iwobi is named among the subs.

Gbamin comes in for the suspended Morgan Schneiderlin in the only change made by Silva.

Jordan Pickford continues in goal with Seamus Coleman, Michael Keane, Yerry Mina and Lucas Digne making up the backline.

Gomes and Gbamin play together for the first time with Rciharlison, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Bernard playing in support of Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Jonas Lossl is Everton’s back-up keeper and starts on the bench alongside Mason Holgate, Tom Davies, Theo Walcott, Cenk Tosun, Moise Kean and Alex Iwobi.

Everton XI: Pickfiord, Coleman, Keane, Mina, Digne, Gbamin, Gomes, Richarlison, Sigurdsson, Bernard, Calvert-Lewin

Subs: Lossl, Holgate, Walcott, Tosun, Iwobi, Davies, Kean
