Everton line-up confirmed for Manchester City as Carlo Ancelotti makes five changes

Carlo Ancelotti has picked the same starting XI from his first game in charge as Everton manager for today’s clash with Manchester City.

And so the Blues boss has made five changes to the side that defeated Newcastle United on Saturday.

The five players that came into the side following the Boxing Day win over Burnley have all dropped to the bench and are replaced by those who made way for the game at St James’ Park.

That means Seamus Coleman, Yerry Mina, Lucas Digne, Fabian Delph and Bernard all start this clash at the Etihad and Michael Keane, Leighton Baines, Tom Davies, Theo Walcott and Moise Kean drop to the bench.

Jordan Pickford remains in goal, Mason Holgate continues at centre-back, Gylfi Sigurdsson plays in central midfield and Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin play as the two upfront.

Everton: Pickford, Coleman ©, Mina, Holgate, Digne, Sidibe, Sigurdsson, Delph, Bernard, Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin.

Subs: Stekelenburg, Baines, Keane, Walcott, Tosun, Davies, Kean.
